Reverting to older iTunes software

I can't stand the new iTunes format, how do i revert to the previous more understandable version I was using? I can't figure out how to synch any of my audiobooks for example. It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to select what I wanted synced on to my phone, I'm done with this version. I don't want to re-learn how to use software I had already mastered.

I had absolutley no problems with iTunes 10.7, So I would try to see if there were any fixes between the two versions, and what kind if any (usually stability/ compatabilty/ usability issues are resolved durring upgrades).

That way if you decide to go to 10.7 you at least know the diferences (if any). I would do if if I had 10.6 (if that helps any)

(but I would backup the important files from your itunes folder just in case you run into any issues)

THank you for your time,

I reinstalled 10.7 and used the previous library as per the instructions above, and didn't have any trouble...however, I lost all the songs and playlists that had been added after that library was created, which was several months ago. Is there a way to get those back? The songs can be added again, but it would be difficult because they're sorted in the music folder and I don't know which were new since then. Thanks in advance for your help!
