Welcome to the Apple Community.
Ineligable includes purchases from other accounts, files over 200 MB and data rates of 96 Kbps or less.
Ok, so what about song that is Protected AAC, 12.8 MB, 128 kbps? I bought this entire album on iTunes, and three of the five songs are not eligible for iCloud. Is there anything I can do about this, or did I just get ripped off?
I have the same problem! About 1/3 of my library (that I purchased!) is apparently ineligible for iCloud. No other explanation. *****.
Okay so this just happened to me with my iTunes Match and a 4 minute song that I downloaded for free from the internet. iTunes Match ran and ruled it ineligible and deleted the playlist that I put it in from iCloud. I fixed the problem by creating an ACC version of the song (right clicking the song and selecting "create ACC version") and deleted the old song. This worked for me.
Also, if your songs won't upload and they're purchased, keep in mind that while they won't be in iCloud you still should be able to download the song(s) to all of your apple devices and iTunes via "automatic downloads" or going to "purchases" section in the iTunes Store..
Hope this helps lol I know how annoying iTunes Match can be....it's been out for almost 15 months and I still would like to personally call Tim Cook and list about 10 things that need to be adressed and fixed with iTunes Match
