Can't open facebook in safari

I have just bought an iPhone 4S about a week ago. I have the facebook app but also like using facebook in safari. Earlier today I cleared the cookies and cache from my phone and now I can't access facebook on safari. When I try to log in it says "to use facebook please select your settings app, safari, accept cookies, from visited. So I did this and it still won't work. I get the same message. I restarted safari after I had done it also, but no different. Can anyone help? I like using facebook on safari, I hope I can continue to do so! Thanks, Lisa

Thank goodness not just me then :) . I have tried everything but it still won't fix it. It was working fine a few days back. I have the FB App but for some things it is easier to view and work in Safari. I have pinged FB but have heard nothing back yet. If they do I'll post up here.

I'm also having the same message come up when I try and log in to Facebook. My fone went into recovery mode a few days ago so had to get it fixed at the shop as my computer wouldn't restore it. I'm not sure if its something to do with that :(

Howdy.... Still no reply from FB.... BUT, I went to settings, safari and did the following:- "clear history" and also "clear cookies and data". Went back into safari and was able to log into FB again. Let me know if you try this and it works. If FB ever come back i'll paste their response into the blog...

That is so strange as that is what caused the problem in the first place for me but I just tried it and it worked! Thank you!
