get a metronome beat right. logic ought to be able to
do a dotted value beat, but as it can't, we will have
to write them for the klopfgeist AI.
This should be on the "short list" for the next update. Digital Performer allows you to choose dotted values for tempo and meter settings. There is no reason that Logic shouldn't have this capability. Especially with the new DP 5, there are some amazing new Click and Count-off features, especially for film scoring.
Having said that, you can do many of the same things in Logic (manually) by using the Klopfgeist instrument plug-in. Overall, an annoyance, but not a deal-breaker by any means.
