Migration doesn't copy Instrument Library

You know the Migration Assistant, this program that takes your files from your old computer to your new one so that everything looks exactly like you left it? Well, in the case of the new computer that comes pre-installed with GB, it doesn't exactly do it (or didn't do it in my case): It did transfer all the loops that I had, but the Instrument Library was the default one after migration, with all the added Instruments (like from Jam Packs) missing. I had to get it manually from the old machine. So this should be a warning to keep the old computer or a copy of it for a while after getting a new one!

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

This seems to be happen all of a sudden to more posters,

It would be good to know, if this is only happening with certain system versions, or if it is a general problem.

I recently migrated two machines: Migration Assistant worked well on the first machine, when I used it immediately during the initial setup, when first prompted, if I want to migrate from a different computer. On the second machine our engineer had already set up the system, before I rceived the machine. Launching Migration Assistant separately to migrate the contents later caused all kinds of trouble.

Time Machine would not accept the new computer as a replacement of the old and I had to start a complete new backup.
And the instruments library was not migrated, like you observed.

Added:

Christop, did you use the Set-up Assistant to do the migration during the initial set-up, or did you launch Migration Assistant separately, like I did on my second machine?
