Deleting mailbox folders off iphone

Currently, if you want to delete a mailbox folder off your iphone only, it will delete the mailbox folder off your associated email account too! I think there should be an option when you are editing mailboxes to either delete off iphone or delete off email & iphone.

What do you guys think?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.2

i do not have a problem if this happens because i donot ue these folders at all and would like to delete them can you help

Good question. I don't think you can delete them! Folders need to be removed from your emailing service eg. hotmail/outlook, gmail.

Or simply dont select them to sync
