Ableton Live + iMic (or alternative)

Hi, so i've recently started using Ableton Live for making music and doing a bit of DJing. Right now i'm just using the headphone output on my iBook so obviously cueing is a bit difficult. Ableton Live has support for multiple soundcards and i was wondering if anyone has experience with Griffin's iMic for this. would i be able to use my iBook headphone output for the cueing tracks and the iMic output for the master track or would i have to buy another iMic-like thing that had multiple outs. Sorry if this isn't meant to be here but i find the iBook forums are always very helpful and couldn't find anywhere that this would fit in well.

Thanks

Andy

i found an answer to my own question at macmusic.org forums. A post to the same question answered by td3k:

"If you are running Tiger you can do it. You need to open up 'Audio MIDI Setup .app' and set up an aggregate device. This will allow you to set up a virual interface that includes the iMic and the built in devices together. Then, in Ableton, choose that device for your audio output in Ableton's preferences. Once Ableton is configured to use a multi-channel output device, it will allow you to choose a seperate output for cue."
