Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I'm trying to import my pics from phone to computer in windows 8. I can see the phone and it even tells me how much storage I have left. But then it tells me there are no files to import. Help?? I could do this on my old computer!

Addendum : for whatever reason, I tried again and with phone connected, file explorer sees phone, R click on phone gave "import pictures" option and it seems to be working. This had failed previously. Windows ..... iOS ...... None of it is ever as easy or flawless as the beautiful commercials would have you believe
This finally worked for me after a month of frustration. I did it step by step as you indicated and it worked. Also it was a simple procedure for me. Thank you very much.
