I got locked out from my iPad mini during setup, keep ask me for passcode but I didn't set one up. Reboot unsuccessful, iTune won't let me connect because I didn't enter my passcode. How to fix this?

I have same problem with my new out of the box ipad pro. I followed these steps closely but all I got was an itunes icon with a picture of the cable and a white arrow pointing to the itune icon. And won't do anything. Now what?

Hello again. I have repeat those steps several times and it still times out and asks if I'd like to retry. I say yes and we continue to loop. T tells my iPad Pro each time disable it for 15 minutes

yeah but then it says restore and update. and once I click it this thing pops up that it cant be restores or and unknown error.
