Are you saying that the iMac G4 (The one with the screen you can move around extremely flexibly) is compatible with the Airport Extreme ($70) ???
That's good news as the brand new Airport Extreme cards are about half the price of a second hand Airport card

Like Duane says the 1GHz and
above models use Airport Extreme card. 700/800MHz
models use Airport (original) card. This page confirms that.That's good

According to the Apple store, the AirPort Extreme
card part number is M8881LL/A.
I'm not sure what the part #s you list refer to.
There is only one AirPort Extreme card.
Where are you seeing these model #s?

There's a seperate French (4 pages!) leaflet which I can't really understand (my French is not so good!) but it lists Frequencies, Power levels and mentions about authorization being required.
