Forgive my newbie question. I am not a developer. My programmer is working on an app for me. He has provided .ipa and .apk files of my app. How can I view/test these on my Mac? I just want to test the functionality. Thank you in advance for any guidance 🙂
You can't.
You need to install the .ipa on your iPhone/iPad via iTunes.
Your programmer has to add your iPhone/iPad to his developer account which authorizes your device to install and run the .ipa. He should have sent you instructions as to what you need to send him beforehand.
I don't know (nor care) about the Android file.
