Unable to use FaceTime and iMessage with my apple ID

Hi

I am currently experiencing an issue with my iPad (2nd generation) and iPhone 4S where the apple ID no longer works on the FaceTime and iMessage apps. It worked previously. However I turned off the apps and when I turned it back on try to setup it the apps using my apple ID it does not work anymore. My password is accurate but it keeps telling me that the password is incorrect for my apple ID (which is an email address)

Thanks for any assistance

i had the same problem on my ipodtouch 5th generation ios 7.0.4 latest version yet. i managed to fx mine by turning my blackberry in to a mobile hotspot and logging on to that wifi through my ipod. i then went to log in to imessage and facetime, were as previously it would keep asking for my password and never log in, it logged in. i also tried logging in to cloud where i had had problems logging in to. i then logged back on to my normal wifi and everything is working fine now. hope this helps.

Hi All

I have had my Apple account for a year now and have managed to download apps without a problem.

I have just downloaded iMessage in order to chat to loved ones overseas and unfortunately it is not accepting my password. I have reset the password and can obviously login to the Apple site however trying to complete the installation to iMessage is still an impossibility.

Help....please:-)😕

hello, I'm having a similar problem. For some reason iMessage and FaceTime seem to not work, and iMessage worked previously, but I didn't try FaceTime yet. (dads old ipad and a new apple ID created by me) Anyways, I can't send messages or FaceTime anybody, even though both are turned on and apple ID are signed in. I can't receive either. If anyone tries to message me, it says I'm unavailable. The ipad is ipad 2nd generation and its running IOS 6.1.2 i think. Please help.
