Thank you so much for responding so quickly. And I see what you meant by the narration errors, but it's clear to me what you meant.
Unfortunately, these are the steps I've already been following. I end up with the same problem as the OP mentioned in the original thread - when I follow these steps and join 2 movies together, the chapter track for the second movie doesn't appear in the QT player's drop-down list of chapters.
By the way, in case it helps, my 2 movie files were created using iMovie. Also, I swear I followed this method once and it worked, but since I can't duplicate it, I may be mistaken.
I messed around with changing the options for the text track of the second movie as mentioned in the original thread (via Window->Show Movie Properties), but to no avail.
In your example, the resultant combined movie shows only one text track. Mine ends up with two text tracks. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the problem, but I have no idea why it happens.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. If you need more info, just ask. Oh, and have fun with the grandkids!
