got an iPad mini. Bought ATT cellular data for 14.95 . Problem is: I am out of usage after 2 days. I have a separate AT&T unlimited family for phones. Wonder if the phones defaulted to the the new cellular plan? I have not used the iPad that much.

Is data included in your unlimited plan? If yes, contact AT&T to see
about adding your iPad to the family plan. I believe it is $10/month +
fees and taxes. AT&T will be able to answer your questions. If you
don't get an answer you like, call again - many of the better representatives
are probably on holiday this week, and the call center will be flooded
with calls of people setting up new devices.
The way the iPad works if you have cellular turned On. It uses wifi if available, but automatically switches to cellular if wifi does not connect. If you don't want to use your cellular data, turn cellular Off if you just want to use wifi.
