The file server "name" Closed down

I use a synology DS412+ connected to a mac mini and a (airport time capsulel router (via ethernet cables), recently i noticed that when i try to play a file from the disk drive, after about 15-20 mins, the file would stop playing and come up with error that says, The file server "DS412+" closed down.

I have no idea why this is happening and as you can imagine, its very frustarating. Am suspecting the problem maybe time capsule.

At first, i suspected that it maybe the hibbernation on the synology disk station, but ii disabled it and still having same issue.

This happens without me doing anything except watching the file play using vlc. can someone please help.

thanks and am looking into that right now.

This is what i tried since i asked the question and its been playing for well over 35 minutes now. i had two different NAS drives connected to my router (airport), i disconnected one of the drives, (the one i normally do not use). i had the DS412+ connected to Lan 2, i changed that to Lan 1 and also on the router end, i unplugged the ethernet cable for the other NAS (drive) and plugged the DS412+ instead. So far so good, everything is been playing for 36 minutes now....

i'll keep this updated on whatever happens. but so far so good.

am going to check console now...
