I've just updated to the latest itunes and it won't allow me to manually sync to iphone any advice?

I've tried the add to function yet it doesn't do anything.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6

If the problem is you cannot see your device and thus the Sync pages?


Access your device by either clicking the button to the left of the iTunes Store Button Top right. You will then see all your sync pagers. Music Apps etc. Select wht you want and click Sync or Apply at the bottom right.


To see your device as it was in iTunes 10 Click View > Show Sidebar. Select your device and you will see the same pages as above

Sounds like it is more an issue with your computer than itunes as it happened with the previous version as well.


What computer are you using Windows or a mac?


For windows I found this the solution is apparently to hit the esc key

For a mac


Sleep/wake wasnt working for me so I pressed <Command> + <Alt> + <esc> to launchforce quit and from there i relaunched finder, and it worked for me..........
