Can't charge my iPhone 5 in the car?

Hey

I am facing a real problem with charging my iPhobne 5 in the car. I have bought more than 6 full chargers for the car and all of them work for a while and later they start not charging and sometimes I have to move the cable or put the phone in specific positions and later the cable doesn't work at all. so what's wrong?

I am buying original cables and chargers from Apple and all of them are not working? known that only iPhone 5 doesn't work while I can charge my other phones like iPhone 4S and others through the same lighter in the car and with no problems at all

any solutions?

Sounds like you're buying cheap junk chargers... Apple does not make a car charger.

That or maybe there is a problem with the electrical system in your car that is overloading and burning out the chargers.

Or are you saying that the Lightning cables are burning out? The lightning cable is quite different from older cables. It's "smart". That is, it has an authentication chip in it. If the power from your car charger/lighter socket is not stable, it could be frying the chip.

I had a similar problem brought a genuine lightning cable and was using it in a good quality usb charger

one day i got in car and noticed burn marks on end of cable (phone end) and it had stopped charging

i took it back to apple store told them sparks came out of my phone and they replace the lead & phone

i think there must be an issue here maybe need to wait for a belkin or griffin charger a reputable company

I am buying the original Apple cable but not full car charger. you know it's 2 parts the car charger and the cable but the car charger that I plug in the lighter is not Apple but a very good one and a very known model and cost around 60$ each and I tried several chargers and all have the same problem so how can I charge my iPhone outside the home? because also the battery life is bearly 8 hours without 3G or anything else and that problem is facing only the iPhone 5 while the iPhone 4S I can charge it in the car without any problem
