I have purchased Snow leopard 10.6.3 in order to install and update my computer in order to update itunes to install ipad.
I am not at a stand still because I am being told to update to 10.6.6 in the mac app store but I cannot download app store without 10.6.6 anyway?????
You don't update from 10.6.3 by using the App Store. You use Software Update for that. Then after using Software Update to get to 10.6.8, you'll have the latest version of the App Store.
I don't see how this issue relates to your iPad.
Download and apply the combo update Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 then follow that with software update to catch any late security changes.
I can't download mac app store without updating to 10.6.6 but I can't update to 10.6.6 without app store????
