Does anyone know if iOS Garageband responds to midi messages (specific program change)?

Found this online on the iOS MIDI site (GB for ios):

CC 1 – Modulation (in keyboard, for synths etc)
CC 7 – Current Track volume (only works in instrument mode, not in arrangement mode)
CC 8 – Current track pan (only works in instrument mode, not in arrangement mode)
CC 64 – Sustain Pedal
Channel Aftertouch
Pitch Bend

The only one I can confirm is the sustain pedal message.

I am trying to control my Arp from an external source. So far in vain.

BUT, your answer is very helpful as that was the question asked by the iRig representative about my question.
