Manually manage playlists?

I just updated itunes to (11.0.1.12), and it's pretty nice, but I can't figure out how to manually add a playlist from my itunes library to my ipod. I often change the playlist on my PC, delete the playlist from my ipod, then add the updated playlist on the ipod. I need this function.

I don't use autofill because I have several devices which all have different content. It is essential that I figure out how to do this or I will have to downgrade my itunes. I like everything about 11.0.1.12 except for this glitch.

If ANYONE has a solution, I really need a hand.

Hey itunes community. I have found a solution to the problem I listed above and I'd like to explain my solution so that anyone who is having the same problem can fix it.

In iTunes 11.0.1.12, if you want to drag and drop playlists to your device manually you need to follow these steps:

1. in the upper lefthand corner of the screen there is a tiny rectangular button, click this button.

2. near the bottom of the menu there is a button which reads "show menu bar", click this option

3. now go to the "view" button on the menu bar

4. click the "view" button, and select the option which reads "show sidebar".

5. laugh, and sob with relief and curse apple for making it so difficult to find!

Best of luck guys,
