About Ipad?

Hi guys, I am thinking about getting an Ipad but I have a few questions.

Can i do the following, without any hacking/cracking?

1. Flash support? I really need to be able to access the same websites as with my desktop.

2. Torrent client? I use this alot so I need to be able to download stuff directly to the device.

3. Mkv support? this the main video "format" I use so is it supported? The 4:3 aspect is really bad for video, but it is not a deal breaker.

4. File manager with network support? I need this for move/copy/open/save files over network and on the device.

5. Upload/download pics and docs to websites with the "browse" option.

There are apps that can do most of these, except the torrent client, which Apple has a blanket ban on. I suggest that you do some more research on apps that will do these things for you. Search for things like "iOS mkv player".

I found a browser that is said to use flash and a mkv player but nothing on the file explorer (wich should be a core fuction) and the "browse" function on website does apparently not work without a file explorer. I forgot to mention that I want to be able to install apps from other places, not only the app store (I really dont want apple to decide what I do with my device).

Sounds like an iPad is not a device that will meet your requirements.

Only apps from the AppStore can be installed. There is no user access

to the file system so there is no 'file browser'. iOS does not work

the way other operating systems do.
