5W Power Adapter on Ipad 2

Hi there, I just bought an Ipad 2 from a friend and it came with the A1300 (5W) adapter. From what I saw here that is adequate for Iphones and the Ipad mini. Is it harmfull to the other Ipads or will it just take longer to charge? Thanks!

Your friend gave you the wrong power adapter. It will not harm the iPad, but will not charge it in a timely manner. You need the 10W power adapter for the iPad 2.
