Why won't my Clickfree work - Help

I recently purchased a


User uploaded file


CLICKFREE HD1037nse BACKUP EXTERNAL HDD


and each time i plug it in it does nothing except it attempt to do a software update> reboots> then asks for another software update and just repeats.


any suggestions or tips on how i can make this work with my Macbook Air.


Any help is welcomed :-)

LousyFool +1, and get a refund while you're at it!


These drives have a locked partition with Clickfree backup in it, partition is darn near impossible to get rid of. (If there's a way, I haven't found it yet. Open to suggestions tho.)


The one I have here seems to be properly formatted, but with the constant barrage of OS updates it doesn't take long for Clickfree to break. Whatta horrible scheme. If I could lose that partition it might be a decent backup using TimeMachine, SD or CCC, but it's not worth the trouble it's already caused.
