Why does iTunes not responding everytime i add a file?

I've tried to uninstall Itunes and Quicktime player, then reinstall the latest version for both but then it is still the same.

Now my iTunes is just a useless player.

Can anyone please tell me how to solve this problem?

Really appreciate if there is any solution and make my iTune working again.

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.1

What do you mean by add a file. like add a music file or a video? I would first check on the apple websight to make sure your computer has the right specifications to run the program. If that's not it, it might be a program or something else on your computer preventing it from running correctly.
