MacBook Pro (Not Charging) but Green Light Still On

Hi my 2010 Macbook Pro had a problem today where the battery wasn't available and there was a loud fan, so I did the SMC, and now it is showing up as (Not Charging) but the green light is still on. If I remove the charger, the whole laptop shuts off.

Here are my stats, someone please help:

Hello.

I've tried with another AC charger and it's the same...

I also tried to put my charger in another macbook and it's working normally.

When I put charger in, there is no light (or is really small light) in my Macbook, but in other it is really green....

How can MacBook work with electricity with this adapter, if you're saying that power adapter is nonfunctional?

What can be wrong?

Thanks!

Same problem. Reset the SMC and the problem was corrected. Took 2 minutes.

  • Shutdown your system
  • pull out the battery
  • press and hold power button for 5 seconds (I gave it 7 seconds “just in case”).
  • Pop battery back in, connect to power (via magsafe), and power on.
  • You (hopefully) should see the charge indicator turn orange, which means it’s charging again – yay!

maybe this wierdest way to fix this problem, but why not to try this method,,

try to WARMING UP YOUR MAGSAFE with your bare hands,,

for first time i think same to,it's wierd,,

but i try that method,,,

i put the magsafe on my hand and others hand on top of it,,
then i press the magsafe for 2 minute with my both hands in order to make my magsafe warming up..

then i plug it to my macbook air,,,

you know what ?!

the light turn become orange colour,it's mean what ??

IT'S CHARGING !! AND IT'S WORKS GUY'S !! 😮😮 😎😎
