So everyone is telling me my computer is infected!

I'm getting massive amounts of hyperlinks. And they are not subject or topic related. They link to ads. I have adblocker, Javascript Blacklist, and nothing is working.


It's not really bothersome as long a I don't click or run my mouse over them. But why are they happening? What did I do? I just upgraded to mountain lion from snow leopard. That's about all I have done. I also loaded Aperture 3. And I got this thing called Untrasher because I lost some photos and wanted to try and recover them. But that's about it.


It's kind of driving me crazy. Any thoughts?

I think I just figured it out. Or rather Thomas Reed enlightened me. Man he's the guy to read if you have problems. Anyway I had this thing called Yontoo in there, so I just uninstalled it. From what I read (Thomas Reed and Google) that was the culprit. I checked a few sites that I frequent and so far have not seen anything that I previously saw.


We'll see what happens in the future. Not sure how Yontoo got there.
