An iPhone is not "a recent Mac", it's "a recent Apple product". More specifically, an iPhone is a phone and a Mac is a desktop computer.
Where did you get the idea you would get payed when you install XCode? I installed it (on my -- recent -- Mac desktop computer, not on an iPhone or iPad) and I didn't get any cash, from anyone.
You cannot install Xcode on your Windows or Linux PC... Xcode requires only Mac
