how to add google play to my ipad
Google play is not available for iOS devices. Google play is an App Store for android devices. As android is not comparable with iOS, you cannot get Google Play. If you want to get apps, go to the App Store. Many apps available for Google Play are available there.

Amazon sent me an email saying I could do it but I can't figure it out
. They said I need to go to settings and and open security or applications and hit allow unknown sources. I know where settings is but there is no security or applications.....not to mention unknown sources
If "google play" is not available at the itunes app store, then it's not available for iOS devices.
Google Play for Android = App Store for iOS. To download apps, you go to the App Store. Not Google Play.
I play a game on my phone which is android.
Unless there's another "Google Play" than the one I'm familiar with, that's a store for purchasing apps for Android devices and hence has no applicability to an iPad.
Regards.
