unable to make in-app purchases need help

Trying to make a purchase in Clash of Clans. Had been able to now it has been a week and I am unable to.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.2, Clash of Clans

I have just had the same problem and more or less followed walcomc's instructions.


My problem was that I had an itunes account set up in one country and was trying to acces it from a different one. I know a lot of people do this for different reasons and usually get away with it. The chat rep would not actually confirm that exactly but kept referring me to the Terms and conditions regarding country of use. Kind of wierd but possible some sort of security thing.


Perhaps Apple has a new way of detecting your country of access or something but I had to change my account country and then they "unblocked it" I don't think there is anything else you can do if this is your scenario. Whether I can go back to the old country again I am yet to find out (no real reason to try just yet).
