Converting an HD Quicktime to an H264 file
Hello,
I need to generate an H264 copy of a Quicktime file that is massive in size - it is an HD film taking 130GB of space.
The H264 copy needs to be 5GB in size or less.
The H264 copy is to be used for online streaming by a Video On Demand platform.
The machine I have is an Intel powered Mac Pro.
So far, the export feature via Quicktime has resulted in files that are too small.
Compressor: takes forever and then seems to send the file to the wrong - full - drive, resulting in the programming crashing.
Perhaps I need to work on the settings some more.
Any suggestions, please.
Many thanks,
