I would like to retrieve text messages accidentally deleted. How do I do this? BTW this is on my own phone.😐

If you have backup before the deletion , you can restore from back using computer iTunes.
If not, it's gone.
I have backed up. How then do I view the backup? Am I able to view them through itunes? or do I need to restore backup to phone & view them on the phone?
The backup cannot be view directly. You need a 3rd party tool to do that.
