Music added to project cannot be heard after data migration to iMac

I recently bought a new 27" Imac and migrated data from my old Macbook Pro to the new machine.

This included several IMovie projects where i often used music Purchased from ITunes.

All visual data ,sound/visual effect etc. have migrated Ok, however, this music is no longer audible.

Is it a question of making IMovie recongnise what is in my ITunes account or does this have something to do with the status of the IMovie projects when migrated?

Any assistance in this regard would be much appreciated....thank you

I don't know for sure, but I would suggest that you trash your preferences files.

Thanks for that........Unfortunately I'm not really that confident that i could do that without probably damaging something else..... I also have several completed projects which I wanted to watch again, but unfortunately after this migration I am getting a "Source Clip missing" message, even though the source clips are clearly there......looks like it's pointing to the correct file/clip but i would not know to make that happen....help please..thank you
