Is there any way to get the apps Showtime Anytime or HBO Go running on my apple TV? I tried running the application on my iphone and mirroring it to apple TV but I recieve a message saying that feature is not available with Showtime Anytime or HBO Go on the iphone. Is the only other option mirroring it with an iPad?

Both companies block AirPlay and AirPlay mirroring from working with their apps. There are no workarounds.

Is there anything to suggest that we may see an HBO app in the next few?
Apple TV has HBO Go and you can access the same on your laptop. It's quite good. Cable subscription required.
