Get to home screen on iMac
I opened up the apps a update an it's still waiting for 10 minutes. How can I go back to the home screen?
The forum is for the PPC computers built during 2006 and before.
Sounds more likely you have an iPad.

Move the mouse pointer somewhere else on the screen & click.
Here is how to find out what version of Mac OS you are running:
Click on the blue apple in the upper left hand of the screen.
click on this icon
Click on the first line, "About This Mac"
Most of these are numbers & that's what we want.
What version & Processor do you have?
