Ibook internet connection problems

My Ibook cant connect to the internet.

Its a mac OS 9.1 256 MB 2001 and i want to update and when i try to load a website it says "The attempt to load 'Accessing URL: http://google.com/'failed."

Its newley restored and everything is original.

Please help me
