I have the Apple TV and am having trouble with seeing my desktop of my MacBook PRO on my tv. I have AirPlay turned on and the AirPlay code pops up on the tv screen. Where do you enter the code????? Silly question I'm sure but I cannot figure out where to enter it.

i have a 2015 macbook, having the same problem, and I can't find where to put the F### code.
AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer).
So I found out that my MacBook PRO is mid-2010 but runs the latest OS software. Therefore AirPlay is NOT compatiable with my MacBook?
If that's the case, then no it doesn't support mirroring.
How do you enter AirPlay code?
