How can I change a FaceTime number?

I messed up the set up on my iPad, so my bf's mobile number is my FaceTime number. I have managed to unstick his number so now only my email address is used for my FaceTime, but how can I replace his number with mine??

Ah, that would make A LOT of sense!! So, my FaceTime is linked to my aol email address, does that mean that others will connect to that automatically whether through 3G on Vodafone or through my Wifi at home? In other words, do I only actually need my email address as the option for where I can be reached with FaceTime?

I hope what I have written there makes sense? Thanks for your help!!

You can use an email address for FaceTime regardless, and can be reached at it regardless of what network the caller is on.It does need to be verified on your appleID.

I have the same problems. I have deleted my apple Id from my daughter's iphone, so she can only get imessages and FaceTime to her cellphone. Her phone number is still showing on my Ipad2 when I log in using my Apple ID. It also shows up if I use my apple ID on my cell phone for both imessages and FaceTime.

The worse wasn't that I was getting her texts in my Ipad, it was that SHE was getting my imessages in her iphone.

Please help!!!
