App Store problem - blank update screen iPhone 5

All tabs working in App Store except Update tab. Icon shows 4 updates available, but open App Store and update screen is blank

Have tried re-setting both App Store app and phone. Tried resetting wifi. Nothing fixes it.

Advice?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.2

Yep I'm having the same issue - it's now 2 days this is ridiculous. I can't even get to the purchase option in the App Store! Today is the unveil of the Samsung 4 in NYC - you would think apple would make sure not to get their customers upset! I've honestly had enough of all these issues w the iPhone, AppStore etc. I've literally had to go to battle w apple to swap out my phone because it kept loosing data network connectivity.

If this doesn't get resolved - I might be switching to the galaxy 4! I've called support too and was told that no issues were reported on their end and that someone would get back to me without 24hrs. 2 days gone by and no call back!

If it's the same problem that occurred last month then all these fixes do nothing. It's probably a sporadic server issue and any fixes that work are just coincidences. I had the problem for several days in early February, wasted time trying every single fix possible... and then it randomly started working again.

Double check for server issues here: http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

If it says everything is fine, notify support, but don't expect miracles. If enough people complain, they'll realize that they're having an intermittent problem again.

For those that think this is specific to an update of hardware type I have this isue happening to me right now and it is happening on the following

iPhone 4s with iOS 6.12

iPhone 4(2) one with iOs 5 and another with 6.0

In addtion I also have

iPad 2 with iOs 5.1.1 that shows an update screen with all of my updates

So I am thinking this is an issue on Apple's side for sure. Yes restore might fix this issue but it is not the cause and should NOT be the only fix.

Official silence on such an annoying issue is unacceptable.

That said, it's clear that if Apple acknowledges the blank update screen bug, it will turn into another "Apple is becoming Microsoft" news story and the stock goes down another 10 bucks. Yes, they should be brave enough to address it publicly. But it's also understandable why they're acting this way, no doubt scrambling to fix it without wanting to call attention to their latest screw up.

None of the rebooting suggestions posted above worked for my iPad3.

But in the meantime, there is a workaround, at least for me:

Using the App Store app, select the Purchased tab instead of the Update tab. On my device at least, it shows my installed software. Those programs that need an update will say "Update" in the button to the right of the program. Those that are current will say "Open."

Just scroll down through the list and tap Update as you find them.

Admittedly annoying and clearly needs fixing. But if you have dozens of programs, rather than hundreds, it will get you updated until Apple fixes the bug.
