what wireless router will work with iphone 5

Is there a wireless router that will work with my iphone 4S and Iphone 5?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

The current firmware for the Netgear WGT624v3 has a bug which prevents it from working with iOS 6.


To work-around this problem it is necessary to backup the firmware for this router to the last level that does not contain this bug. The level you need is 2.0.21

I'm using a WGR614v9. The Netgear came with info to get you to a web page to find your router info and adjust your settings. The first thing I would try is setting security to "None". If the phones connect OK then, you know it is a security setting issue. Go to "Wireless Settings" and in "Security Options" check "none".


I use WEP and am not familiar with the others. When I installed the router, I set up a pass phrase. That will not allow an iPad or iPhone to connect. I had to enter a "key". There were four of them near the bottom of the page. The one with the bullet in it was the one that allowed connection. This drove me nuts the first time I tried to connect an Apple device.
