Transfer iphone contacts to exchange

So to be clear, the Exchange contacts sync, it's specifically the contacts created on the iPhone that don't sync?

Do the contacts created on the iPhone subsequent to your having set exchange as the default account show up in Outlook?

Another solution since you are running iOS 6. Use Google's CardDAV protocol when syncing contacts instead of the older Exchange protocol. The sync is almost instant and is two-way - i.e. from your Gmail contacts to your iPhone and, of course, the other way round. How did you use iTunes to do this?

Thanks. I read the KB article, and I understand how to sync various data types with iTunes. But am just very wary of making any changes on this person's phone until I know they won't lose any data.

Basically, I'd like to be able to transfer the iPhone Contacts in the users Exchange Contacts and set the default iPhone setting for Contacts to Exchange Contacts

- or, change the contacts on the device to Exchange Contacts, but not lose the exiting iPhone ones, and integrate them into the Exchange ones.

Does anyone know the simplest way of doing this?
