how do I change my apple ID under my iCloud preferences in my IPhone Settings? It has an old apple ID that has been used and it won't let me update it. I've updated it under itunes and apps, but it won't let me under iCloud.
Solved it. Put in new password with old email address and turn off find my phone. It did work. Then you can delete the account and sign back in with the new email. Just use the password to turn off find my phone and nothing else. Then delete. Good luck.

That's not working for me. I've tried using the new password with the old email address and it just keeps telling me to enter the correct password. It just won't work. I can't get it to do anything. It just won't let me change my Apple ID in my phone for iCloud.
No that does not work for me either. You can not log in to anything with an old username and password because the account has been updated to a new username. No one has been able to help me with this. I'm stuck!
