why is my ipod not recharging?

Check if your iPod usb cable is working by using another spare cable (if you have one)

Check if the iPod usb cable's power adapter works too (if you have a spare one)

You can also try to charge through PC or MAC computer.

When you do, make sure it can be detected. Otherwise, there are 1000 reasons behind that recharging issue, please provide more information if the suggestions given were not helpful.
