I am having the same problem too. It just started a day or two ago.
Will be watching this post to see if Apple comes up with a fix! Very frustrating.
Same here.... I'm tired of Crapples.
Same thing on my ipad but nothing shows up on the purchased page either!😕
Hi all
I solved the problem.
Here is how to do it. I updated all the apps in iTunes on my computer and then sync them back to iPad. This worked.
I got the hint from a previous chat on this website.
until this problem happens on an Apple executive's ipad, it will be ignored. The rest of us don't matter.
Same here. I updated with the suggestion of a previous poster going through the purchase tab, but I hope see this and fix soon!
I have had the same issue for over a week now. Originally I had a red button on the App Store ion showing 3 updates. When I opened it and went into updates I got a Network error. All other functions worked fine. I was able to search, download new apps, so I know it was nothing on my side. Now it shows 5 updates and I just get a white screen. Obviously it is a problem on Apples side.
Same here. 4 updates show on banner, but blank screen when in app store. The workaround works (going in and finding each app to update individually) but this is a PAIN to go through each letter of the alphabet to find which apps need updating.
I'm having the same problem but I figured out a way to update my apps anyway. Now it takes a lot of time to do this but it gets it done. Search up each and everyone of your apps that can be updated. If an update is available the tab that usually says open will say update.
Hope this helped!
I was albe to fix this by going into Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset Network Settings
This works! Hopefully they will fix the issue entirely so we don't have to keep doing this workaround!
"First thing to try is quitting the App Store app and resetting your iPad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the App Store app until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem."
This is the only solution that worked for me.
I'm having the same issue and I've tried everything that everyone has suggested: tried closing out of the App Store, resetting the iPad, resetting the network settings, nothing has brought up the apps that need to be updated. In the "updates" tab of the App Store. I was able to update about 6 of the apps by going into the purchased tab of the App Store and going through the apps letter by letter and updating the apps that say "update" next to them, but there's still a little '2' on the App Store icon and I can't find any more apps that need to be updated in the purchased tab. I can't sync to my computer right now because it's with my wife who is away at a training for the week, so when my computer comes back I will try that, but that won't fix the problem of nothing showing up in the updates tab of the App Store.
I also tried everything listed above, including resetting the network settings, and I also still have a little '2' on the App Store icon that I cannot find in the purchase section. My husband is having the same issue on his iPad. This is my first time here and I'm wondering if there is a way to report this to Apple?
