How can I transfer a document created on PAGES to my PC or send as an email attachment?

To email from Pages touch the "Wrench" icon in the upper right corner and then select the "Share and print" choice. You can then choose Email document or Copy to iTunes.

Jim's suggestion may be what you need, but some Apps have another way to transfer documents.
Run iTunes on your computer and select the iPad under DEVICES. At the top of that window, click Apps. Scroll down to File Sharing. If Pages appears under File Sharing Apps, select it. Documents to be transferred should appear in the Documents window.
At the bottom of the Pages Documents window, select Add to transfer a document to Pages on the iPad. To transfer a document to your computer, select a document and click Save.
Forgive me if this does not work, since I do not have Pages on my iPad!
