ipad2 doesn't have messages app?
my aunt has ipad2 and said she's missing Messages? Is it possible she just didn't update to ios6

Messages has been a native app since iOS 5x, so that isn't the case. Is she sure she has not tucked it into a folder perhaps?
Unfortunately she lives in another state so I can't see her Pad but she said an Apple Store rep told her it wasn't on her version of the IPad2? I just ended the conversation by saying "that does not make sense but maybe I'm wrong about just needing the latest iOS".
My 80yr old aunt has and uses Messages on her iPhone so she doesn't miss it on the iPad2. I was just curious to know if it really mattered what month you purchased the IPad2 vs just updateing. Thanks
