I accidentally reset my Ipod nano 5th generation and now it say's window's Ipod and will not sync in Itunes... How can this be fixed?

The Ipod shows up in Itunes as "Window's Ipod" but won't let me manually sync through devices or restore. I can't seem to click on the "window's Ipod box to cjange it back to "my Ipod" either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Itunes and used different USB ports and still no change.
