on the ipad 2 do you have to switch of anything to move between wi-fi and cellular access?

On the ipad 2 do you have to switch on/off anything to move between wi-fi and cellular access or is it automatic?

Just don't want to be burning my sim credit at home when i can be connected to my home wi-fi network...
