Can I use an ipod touch 4G with windows 8?

Just ordered an ipod touch 4G and am also on the verge of buying a new laptop. Will my new ipod work with Windows 8 or only Windows 7 as this is what is listed on the required system specification.

Yes it works fine. When the 4G came out there was not WIndows 8.
