Help! I can't open my iTunes. Can someone help me?
A little more information would help.
Did this happen immediately after an upgrade or when you did something else?
Is there an error message? If so give it in full, exact text please.
Open the task manager>>Processes tab, then try opening iTunes. Does iTunes.exe appear? If so does it disappear quickly or persist?
I had a message a couple of days ago that there was an upgrade or something available, but I just closed it because I didn't want to do it right then. Besides the last time I downloaded the new version of itunes it disappeard completely. After trying lots of stuff I randomly clicked on Run as Administrator and it came back. (At least I think that's why). But it worked yesterday, and this morning I went to open it and-nothing!
There is no error message anywhere.
I opened Task manage>processes tab. The only itunes thing that shows up is itunesHelp. No itunes.exe
Thank you for your help!
I am not ceratin that I have understood you.
Just checking, you updated iTunes.
You have it on your PC, but when you try to open it nothing happens, no error error message and iTunes.exe does not appear in the task manager.
A quick thing to try with this is to update your Quicktime.

It seems that you can get error message free launch failure if you have an out of date Quicktime installed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! And thank you again!!!
Downloading Quicktime did it!
i have downloaded the quicktime but still i can't open my itunes.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
