Hey guys i have a Early 2011 MacBook Pro And untill recently i was running Lion and when my battery was charged and was just using the cumpuyter to surf the web my battery showed 7:30 left. but i just installed Mountain Lion two days agao and now my batter at fully charged only shows 2:30 left. is there something i can do to increase its charge? and my mac is also running a lot hotter as well.

You will absolutely nothing . You are just resetting the SMC.

ok thanks a lot i also recently re calibrated my battery but not after the update. so i will do that again and if that doesnt work il follow ur directions. and thanks a lot.:)
